Fishing Season is here at the Kids Can Catch Trout Pond!

Reel in the fun at the Kids Can Catch Trout Pond! This catch-and-release pond is a great opportunity for youth to discover the lure of fishing and learn to be responsible anglers. Don’t have your own gear? No problem! Equipment available for rent for ages 4+ at our Discovery Centre.
Looking to dive deeper? Join a ‘Learn to Fish Clinic’ for ages 6+, taking place Saturdays in June from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Spaces are limited – visit our website for details on pricing and how to register.

The Calgary Zoo is committed to wildlife conservation around the globe. Together with the University of Calgary and the Madagascar Biodiversity Partnership we are currently developing conservation programs in Madagascar to help both lemurs and local communities thrive. Your visit helps make conservation efforts like this possible.
Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame
New Military and Sport exhibit opening at Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame!
Play Hard, Fight Hard: Sport and the Canadian Military open late-March to December, 2017. It is a ground-breaking exhibit created in partnership between The Military Museums in Calgary and Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame exploring the relationship between sports and military service dating back to the First World War. Over 200 artefacts across fourteen sports will be featured as well as personal stories of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame’s Honoured Members who proudly served in all branches of the military. Other programs such as Soldier On which uniquely combines military service and athletics are also highlighted throughout this new exhibit.
Hangar Flight Museum
Wings & Wheels: Father’s Day Weekend!
Join us to celebrate Dad on Father’s Day Weekend – Dad gets in for free alongside a paid admission! This is the only time of the year that The Hangar Flight Museum opens up their aircraft so that you can see and sit inside. The Museum’s wings are joined by vintage vehicles from local car clubs for a Show and Shine, plus more family-friendly activities. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door!

With a new, expanded batch of DJs on deck, an assortment of interactive fun across multiple floors, pop-up bars and bites, and the return of live band karaoke, this is the party you don’t want to miss. *After Hours is a licensed 18+ event.
Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience at TELUS Spark

Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience is at Calgary’s science centre until June 4, 2017. As a Starfleet cadet you will go through seven different zones that will test your skills to determine your potential as a Starfleet officer. Each zone includes a fun, hands-on activity, from phaser target practice to learning the language of Klingon. Exciting possibilities await in this immersive and interactive experience, great for the entire family!
