Brokeback Mountain – Films at the Fort

This summer, we’re showing our Shot in Alberta film series that offers a modern take on the western genre. Tickets for The Revenant, playing July 28 at 7 pm, are on sale now!

Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the screening kicks off with a brief talk from an expert relating to the film’s subject matter. Every ticket includes popcorn and after-hours admission to the interpretive centre.

There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN

Set against the sweeping vistas of Wyoming and Texas, the film tells the story of two young men – a ranch-hand and a rodeo cowboy – who meet in the summer of 1963, and unexpectedly forge a lifelong connection, one whose complications, joys, and tragedies provide a testament to the endurance and power of love.
