In this modern-day adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragic love story, Verona Beach is a gritty, run-down city bisected by two major organized crime families, the Capulets and the Montagues, who also happen to be bitter, deadly rivals. Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet are two teenagers who fall in love at a costume party, only to find that their love might be doomed from the start.
