Finding Fred Lee

May 28 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Finding Fred Lee is a documentary about the search for a young man from Kamloops, BC, who joined the Rocky Mountain Rangers in 1916 and disappeared at the Western Front. Presumed killed at the Battle of Hill 70 in France, Fred Lee’s body was never recovered; his life was forgotten for 100 years. Filmmaker Jack Gin’s story of deep research, extensive travel, and countless interviews have resulted in Private Frederick Lee being sealed into Canadian history and forgotten no more.

Join us at The Military Museums on May 28, 2024 in celebration of Asian Heritage Month. Asian Heritage Month is an opportunity for us to learn more about the diverse culture and history of Asian communities in Canada, as well as to acknowledge the many achievements and contributions of people of Asian origin who, throughout our history, have done so much to make Canada the country we know and love.
