Dive into the depths of Alberta’s icy waters and experience the wonder of fish this winter at the 12th annual Fishtival.

Mark your calendars for a day of fun and exploration at Bow Habitat Station with unique and unforgettable experiences. Celebrations include family-friendly games and activities complete with theatrical performances, Conservation K-9s, fish feeding, and much more.

What can you expect from Fishtival 2024 at Bow Habitat Station?

• Engage with community partners for fishy insights, prizes, and tasty bites.
• Create silly and memorable moments with our snap-worthy photo-ops and our Trout Without Doubt theatrical performances that will have you flappin’ your fins.
• Connect with Alberta’s fish through the Discovery Centre, Aquariums and Fish Hatchery.

Swim along with our fin-tastic partners from the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo, Parks Canada, Alberta Conservation K-9 Program, University of Calgary, Native Trout Collaborative, Hook and Hackle, Alberta Hunters Education Instructors Association (AHEIA), Bow River Basin Council and Trout Unlimited Canada.
