Calling all photographers!

Capture the beauty of iconic wildlife from around the world.

When: Saturday, March 4, 2023

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (includes day admission so you can explore the rest of the zoo afterwards)

Where: Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo, Exploration Asia

Shutterbugs (ages 16+) will have exclusive access to the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo’s Exploration Asia from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. to capture stunning photography of iconic wildlife – from camels to tigers and everything in between!

Photographers of all skill levels have the opportunity to capture amazing photographs of the animals and the zoo grounds – without he crowds!  The zoo’s Animal Care, Health & Welfare team is excited to share their passion for the animals they love and care for with our FOCUSED ticket holders. They will be creating some special enrichment and feeding opportunities just for you to photograph. After your exclusive access to Exploration Asia, explore the rest of the zoo as your FOCUSED ticket grants you admission to the zoo for the rest of the day.
