You’re invited to the Grand Opening of Kípaitápiiyssinnooni (Our Way of Life), a defining new permanent exhibit at The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland.

More than 50 Blackfoot elders, knowledge keepers and artists contributed to the exhibit, which brings together contemporary art and traditional practice in honour of Blackfoot life and harmony with all living things and the universe.

Join us in celebrating the Blackfoot culture and the first new major exhibit at The Confluence in 25 years!

Saturday, May 17 | 1 pm | The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland (750 9th Ave SE, Calgary)

1 pm: Grand opening to the public

1:30 pm: Cake cutting and remarks by exhibit curator Star Crop Eared Wolf and The Confluence president Jennifer Thompson

2-5 pm: Artist talks, drummers and dancers throughout the afternoon
