Orange Shirt Day is an Indigenous-led grassroots commemorative day intended to raise awareness of the individual, family and community inter-generational impacts of residential schools, and to promote the concept of “Every Child Matters” (Orange Shirt Day). Join Métis artisan Janis Laboucane to learn the basics in beading and create your very own Orange Shirt Beaded Pin. All materials are supplied and yours to take home if you don’t finish the pin during the workshop.
