Tsuut’ina Teachings

May 28 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm

$40 – $55
Tsuut’ina Teachings

Join us at Fort Calgary begin to learn and understand aspects of the historical context and realities of contemporary Indigenous interaction in Canada. By sharing their stories and experiences, Bruce and Deanna Starlight of the Tsuut’ina Nation explore the settler-colonial history at the heart of Fort Calgary and our city, and examine its impacts on local Indigenous ways. The event wraps up with a facilitated sharing experience where participants can ask questions and discuss ways to start applying their learnings in daily life.

Fort Calgary offers Tsuut’ina Teachings in collaboration with the Brown Bear Woman Event Centre and Fort Calgary. It was formerly titled Introduction to Indigenous Interaction. This event is eligible for Equity and Accessibility Sponsorship.
