Admission to this event includes an exclusive before-hours viewing opportunity of our Wild Canada zone with a side of polar bear facts from our Conservation Education staff and volunteers. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about polar bears\, what makes them so wonderful\, why they are endangered\, and of course\, get a chance to see the bears in our care before their day begins. You’ll get to hear all the up-to-date polar bear news at this event for all ages. \nAfterwards\, enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast with fresh fruit\, pancakes\, and more. DESCRIPTION:Meet our Animal Care\, Health & Welfare team\nDiscover the fascinating world of the animals in our care led by Dr. Doug Whiteside\, our Head Veterinarian & Senior Manager – Animal Health and Welfare\, and his amazing team of veterinarians and animal health technologists! \nThis engaging evening features a lively presentation filled with photos\, videos\, X-rays\, and real-life stories that take place at the zoo! At different booths\, you’ll have the chance to check out the tools of the trade and chat with the experts on our Animal Health team. You’ll learn what goes into caring for our animals\, from routine check-ups to unexpected emergencies.
