DESCRIPTION:  \n \nBalloon Day\nThe Hangar Flight Museum opens a new exhibit Up\, Up and Away on July 20\, 2024. This exhibit discusses the history and theory of hot air balloon flying\, explains the anatomy of the balloon\, and celebrates the accomplishments of a pioneering female balloon pilot Joan Martin. On Saturday\, July 20\, The Hangar will host a Balloon Day with balloon trailers\, baskets\, and pilots on site\, crafts for air minded kids\, presentations at 11am and 1pm\, and a panel discussion with seasoned hot air balloon pilots at 2pm. The exhibit will be officially opened at noon.
