Prey – Films at the Fort

This summer, we’re showing our Shot in Alberta film series that offers a modern take on the western genre. Prey is the last film in the Shot in Alberta series, but we will have more Films at the Fort in store in the future!

Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the screening kicks off with a brief talk from an expert relating to the film’s subject matter. Every ticket includes popcorn and after-hours admission to the interpretive centre.

There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks available for purchase.

PREY

In this highly-acclaimed prequel to the first four Predator films, a Comanche warrior named Naru sets out to defend her people from the alien Predator threatening her camp. This film has made history by being the first film dubbed in Comanche and the first time a film has premiered in a Native language alongside the English version. The screening of Prey at Fort Calgary is also one of the first times it has ever been shown in theatres!
