Get plugged into robots and technology at the hot-bot summer edition of Spark After Dark!

On August 11, Spark transforms into a super-robo adults-only party! From 6:00 PM to midnight, Spark is the place to plug-in, feel the electricity, get recharged and take a byte out of science! Experience technology at the best science party around, with a feature cocktail, tech-infused experiences, talks from industry experts and (of course) LOTS of robots.

What can you expect from an 18+ night at the science centre?

• The entire science centre is open for adults only!
• Get crazy with the Kilobots and watch the robotic competitors of the Kilobots Canadian National Championships.
• Learn about technology, robotics and engineering from industry experts.
• Feel the solar power with the University of Calgary Solar Car, as well dancing vehicles from Tesla.
• Discover the possibilities of technology and watch a robot create art in the Creative Kids Museum.
• Stand up to a life-size robot from the University of Calgary’s Robotarium Lab.
• Feel all of those algo-rhythms on the dance floor with music from a live DJ.
• Enjoy full-service bars, the night’s feature cocktail and out-of-this-world treats from Astronaut Ice Cream café.
